Keithly Ranches raises natural grass fattened Dorper hair sheep lambs for both meat and breeding stock.  Most experts agree that grass fed meat is healthier for the consumer than feed lot fattened animals.  In our opinion, their lambs just plain taste better too!

We also have a small flock of Hampshire/Suffolk cross ewes that produce lambs for local 4-H and FFA members. 

On keeping with our goal of raising healthier meat, our small flock of Boer/Nubian cross goats are diligently working at keeping down the blackberry vines, poison oak bushes, and other unwanted flora.  This enables us to avoid the use of herbicides on these unwanted plants.  The results… fat, happy goats for sale! 

We do not produce “organic” meat because we refuse to put our animals at risk of diseases, worms and infections by not using modern methods and medications to maintain a healthy herd.  Just to clarify, we do not use unnecessary substances such as growth hormones etc.
